Kat is currently pursuing her masters degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. She earned her bachelors degree in Communication from the College of Charleston in 2014 but has since realized that holistic nutrition is her true passion. Kat has always felt a calling to help others and create change and is interested in learning about the impact that diet can have on every single other area of one’s life, from sleep quality to mental health. She is in the process of discovering in which direction she would like to take her degree, but is especially interested in the connection between mental health and nutrition, as well as food justice and sustainable agriculture. Regardless, she hopes to contribute to a shift in consciousness about where we get our food from and how we approach nutrition as a crucial component of self-care and well-being. Kat is excited to be a part of the Earley Wellness Group team and to learn the ins and outs of an integrative health practice.
In her free time, Kat enjoys cooking up tasty meals and sharing them with her family and boyfriend, spending time outside and in the ocean when she has the opportunity, listening to music and watching movies, and teaching barre classes.Back to All Practitioners
